David, Carmel and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I am unable to be with you all at Alanna's service today.
There are no words that I can share that will make sense of why or how to manage life now that Alanna is not walking this earth with you. The loss of her smile, laugh and genuineness leaves this world with a gap that can not be replaced.
Wishing you all the strength, courage, love to navigate your new reality, day by day. The adjustment of having Alanna living in your hearts instead of beside you, is one of the toughest life journeys you will face.
