You, Austin and your late parents and Adrian are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
From our time in Toowoomba (especially associated with The Chronicle in the mid to late 1990s) there still remain many fond and inspiring memories.

Brian was often limping or slow-of-movement having (as a 50+-year-old) played TCA lower grade cricket with Austin the afternoon before.
Apart from community and industry leadership roles and the demands of his law business Brian found that special time to share with Austin.
That said much about them and their love of cricket, but it also sent a subtle humble message to all about life-balance and sharing in the events that really matter.
The heavenly batting team now has a new father-son partnership ... and a very good and stable one too.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Carters.
