Louise and i extend our sympathies to you on Brian's passing.
Apart from being a proud family man your father was an inspiring community leader and an outstanding contributor to a better and stronger Darling Downs and Queensland.
Brian's playing cricket with Austin in his 50s inspired me to do the same with our middle son Mark. A most rewarding time it was for Mark and I.
Brian's leadership of Heritage meant so many thousands of members and their financial interests were especially well cared for.
It meant Heriatge truly was rewarding locals with surplusses returning back to members and into the community.
His efforts and legacy there, in the law and in supporting research and the broader community means he will deservedly be long remembered.
Brian and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
