- To Marilyn and FamilyJohn and I are so sorry for your loss. He was a funny man and the toilets do make me laugh.John and I watched it live this afternoon after I got home from work. We had laughs and tears. Sorry we couldn't attend ❤️

- Our sincerest sympathy to Marilyn and the Hellyer family. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Will always remember Ray at the servo next door. Never a dull moment never knowing what to expect next. It was never Ray and Marilyn at the servo. It was Marilyn and the Arsehole at the servo. 15 years of fun being neighbours which has never been the same since. Rest in peace RaySorry we couldn't be there today due to a health issue. It was a beautiful service which made us both laugh and cry.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. Please accept the sincere condolences of his classmates at Toowoomba East State School, Class of 1962. We were fortunate that Ray and Marilyn were able to attend our Toowoomba reunion in 2023, with a tour of the old school and lunch at Picnic Point. Ray enjoyed a lovely day reminiscing about our old school days. Ray, Marilyn, and family are all in our thoughts at this sad time.
