- So so very sad to hear of dear Carol passing from this life. Carol was a woman of substance, with the most amazing singing voice that I have ever heard. She could have graced the stages worldwide. She dearly admired my mother, Doreen Waud from Surat. Sincere condolences to Carols family. I have such fond memories of the Frid family, having grown up in Surat. Carol will be singing with the choir of Angels, in Heaven, God Bless her. Love from Jillian Waud, Surat Qld.
