- Today we remember Uncle Fred and the life he lived.Although we didn't see him as often as we'd have liked, we always knew him to be an upstanding man who was respected and highly regarded by everyone. The respect everyone had for him speaks strongly to the character of the man he was and we'll remember him with respect and affection.
Our thoughts are especially with Aunty Florence and the immediate family. We hope that the memories you shared with him will bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead, especially when the passing of someone so well regarded has such an impact. We farewell him with love, respect and gratitude for the life he lived.Wayne, Andrew & Aileen❤ 1
- To the family of Frederick Robson, Fred as I fondly called him, was a lovely cousin. I remember staying with Uncle Ron and Auntie Lilly and their four sons, when I was a young child. I have very fond memories of the family. Fred was very kind and caring and always looked out for me. In later years, our cousins met up for Christmas Lunch every year at the Queen Victoria Building, in Sydney. What great times we had together. Fred was a loving husband and father. He was a very strong Christian, a man with a deep faith in God. Fred took an interest in my family, in particular, my daughter, Karen. A bond developed between them as she shared her love of horses and her work as an Equine teacher and as an Equine Therapisr. I will miss Fred very much. He meant so much to me. I pray God will surround Florence and her family with comfort and strength. I send them my love, Gwenda Stockton.

🌿 Fred Robson: A Tribute
For thirty-five years, Fred was quietly and warmly woven into the fabric of my life. What began as two families meeting through the love shared by my eldest son and his daughter soon became something deeper: a friendship, a kinship, and a sense of belonging that grew naturally over time.
Some of my happiest memories are the hours spent with Fred and Florence, first with my late husband and later with David. There was always laughter, the easy kind that comes when people feel comfortable together. And there were the car conversations, long, cheerful chats in the shed where Fred’s pride and joy sat, a VW, waiting to be admired. He and David could talk for ages, swapping stories, comparing notes, and enjoying the simple pleasure of shared enthusiasm. I can still picture Fred’s face lighting up as he talked about that car; it was more than a machine to him; it was a piece of his history, a spark of joy, and a link to the things he loved.
Fred had a way of making moments feel gentle and genuine. He was steady, kind, and quietly humorous, the sort of man who didn’t need to fill a room to be felt. His warmth flowed easily, and his presence made ordinary days feel a little brighter.
As we say goodbye, I hold dear the years of companionship, laughter, stories, and the comfort of knowing our families grew together because of the love our children shared. Fred leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and the simple, enduring joy of being a good man.
He will be missed. He will be remembered. And he will always be part of our family's story.
May he rest peacefully.
