To Errol and all your family
My heart is heavy, i am saddened with hearing that Irene has left us.
I worked with Irene at Blue Care until I left there in 2012. I also knew her through John and Julie.
She was good and kind person to work with and the most amazing seamstress. Irene helped me on more than one occasion sorting issues with craft and giving me some tips on how to do things easier .....she was that sort of person.
When I came back to Toowoomba and heard of Irene's declining health, I visited her a couple of times at your home..... she was always chirpy, so cheerful...despite being bed bound...
Irene was also very kind and helpful through a phone call to me after my husbands death...stopped my tears for awhile.
We share a birthday month, not the same year.....so I would ring her for her birthday, have a bit of catch up and a laugh.
We didn't see each that often but I very much liked and respected Irene and I will miss her.
My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time..
