  • Gone now Jim however not forgotten Jim. You were a true gentleman and you will be very sadly missed. A wonderful mentor for Johnny during those Irvingdale days teaching him all about growing cotton. So much appreciated for all you did to help him and for your friendship.
Condolences to your family and we are thinking of you all.
Fly with the angels and may you rest in peace Jim.

  • I have so many fond memories of Uncle Jim — his passion for red claw crayfish, teaching me to drive the VW Beetle and plug a flat tyre on the Honda Big Red, using a tractor to rescue us from the back of Michael McMahon’s ute while we were exploring floodwaters, and his calmness after I wrote off a Peugeot 405 in Brisbane while it was on loan to Bryan and Sue.

My condolences to Fiona, Frank, Sue, Emma, Helen, Syd, and your families. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
