- Thank you for the streaming of a beautiful service for Jan. I first met Jan in 1995 when i started doing her mothers hair in Fortitude Valley and she was a devoted daughter to both Alan and Rae. Her cheeky humour although at times, dry was witty and quick just like her mothers and she was uplifting and intelligent to converse with. Like her mother, Jan had a passion for literature, reading and her beloved books and i'm sure the world of those whose life she shared that with will be forever grateful to have had Jan in their lives. Rest in peace Jan 💐
- Jan was a good hearted person with a great sense of humour and comradery-I'll think of her everytime I see Poirot or Miss Marple on screen.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Jan’s passing. I have many fond memories of Jan from when we worked together in the User Services Section of the Library at what was then the DDIAE (now UniSQ). Thinking of her extended family at this sad time and sending my love and prayers.
