Joffre was a special man and had a life filled with many adventures.I first met Joffre when I began work at O B Bell & Co 1963 mainly in the spare parts area, until Winchcombe Carson took over the machinery and so then I was next door. Your dad was always kind to staff and customers. He would often have a joke or some sort of prank.One time he was mowing and I asked if I should move my car - no he said if will be fine. Later he comes in with his joking smile and said a stone broke the windscreen - at first I thought he was joking but no. It was easily fixed as it was VW.We watched the service via livestream - such a wonderful tribute of his long life and showed his care for others. So many memories for you all.I did not know he enjoyed bird watching - we also enjoy it.May God comfort you all as you grieve his passing.Shirley Challoner, nee Larsen
