- Dear Mrs Palmer, Kate, Ross, George, Hamish and Hugh; I simply cannot fathom the world without beautiful, bright, colouful, vibrant, fun, (and funny) Lucy. You've all been in my thoughts constantly over the past few weeks, as I can only imagine how difficult it's been to navigate this huge loss. Although I knew Lucy at school, it was at uni where we became close friends as we immersed ourselves in everything 'Theatre'. (To this day, I still quote some of the funny things she used to say.) Although we drifted to and fro throughout the years as we were at different stages in our life, whenever we caught up the years fell away and we always picked up where we left off. I will treasure those memories of Lucy. She was a gem in the true sense of the word: a rare sparkling treasure.Sending all my love, and holding you in my thoughts.
