• Matt, you were loved by all the staff who worked with you over the years at Fitzy's. I was fortunate enough to be one of them, and you were like an older brother in many ways during my time there. Myself and many staff looked up to you, not just for your skills and work ethic, but also your antics and humour. You made each day at work such a pleasure! I wish I could be there today. You're in the hearts of everyone close to you. Rest In Peace, my friend.

• You always reminded me that our friendship was the longest we had both ever had, after our Mums shared a hospital room when we were born. You always took the time to check in and see how I was doing and only ever wanted the best for me. Your big smile was contagious. You will be missed x

  Dear Brett, Toni, Summer & the Radke family,

  I will always remember Matt for his massive smile, boisterous laugh & hilarious antics - like the time he & Brett swapped class at Highfields SS - we all knew but the teachers had no idea.

   

   

  We crossed paths again when we were both working at Fibbers.  So many young apprentices looked up to you & Marc.  Then there was the daily jokes & tricks (especially on Bevan) & you swearing on top note through the pub - luckily it was shut.  So many fun times.

   

   

  Rest In Peace Matty - you sure will be missed xx
