Thank you for the blessing of knowing you and doing life with you - I thoroughly enjoyed all my visits with Mavis over the years, the cups of tea, the chatter, and the times of prayer and giving thanks for the Goodness of God in so many ways, to us individually and to others' lives. I remember the early mornings for the prayer meeting were when we would gather to pray, and oh wow, you knew how to pray. The mornings were when I thought you were running late, but you were there waiting for us to open up. I am reminded of the words of Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants. We will miss doing life with you but know the joy of what you are experiencing now is anything beyond what we can think or comprehend i am reminded of the words of John 14:1-3,“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in Goda]">[a]; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
