Dear Grandad,
Although I can't be there today to say goodbye in person, I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and in my heart.
Grandad Thank you for always telling us the most wonderful stories. You shared them with such incredible detail that it felt like we were right there with you, living those moments by your side. Those stories were a gift, and they are something we will truly miss.
Thank you for passing down your love of music and your curiosity about the world. You taught us that there's always something new to learn, and you've inspired us to keep asking questions, exploring, and embracing new adventures.
Some of my happiest childhood memories are from time spent at your property. Those days of exploring, laughing, and making memories together are moments I will treasure forever.
And whenever I catch the familiar smell of pipe tobacco, I'll think of you. It's one of those little things that will always bring your memory flooding back and remind me of the comfort and love you gave so freely.
Even though you're no longer with us, the stories you told, the values you shared, and the memories you've given us will stay with us always.
Thank you for everything, Grandad. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
