  • I had the privilege of knowing Rishelle since our freshman year in 2000. From the very beginning, we formed a meaningful connection, discovering shared interests that became the foundation of a lasting friendship. She was known for her vibrant personality—always cheerful, warm, and able to bring laughter to those around her.

Even when circumstances led us to different schools, our friendship endured. Though time and distance limited our opportunities to meet in person, we remained connected through constant communication. One of the moments I deeply cherish was her presence at my wedding, despite her demanding schedule—a true reflection of her thoughtfulness and the value she placed on our friendship.

In later years, our connection continued through messages. I learned of her journey to Australia and the joy she found in becoming a mother. We continued to exchange greetings and conversations, including one on her birthday, February 10, when we spoke at length. It was a moment of genuine reconnection that I will always hold close to my heart.

I was unaware of the challenges she may have been facing at the time. The news of her passing came as a profound shock and sorrow. It is difficult to accept the loss of someone so kind, vibrant, and dear.

Rishelle will always be remembered for her warmth, her kindness, and the happiness she brought into the lives of others. Her memory will remain in our hearts, and her life will continue to inspire those who had the honor of knowing her.

  • I miss you so much tita, I'm still upset at myself that you left earth disappointed in me. Just know how much I love you tita, how much I'm proud to tell people that we were born on the same day, and that I was named after you. I promise to work harder, Tita! Until we meet again❤️.

  • It has been days since we learned of your passing, I still can't bring myself to believe it.

Our last conversation was about you coming home later this year, and how we would plan our trip just like we always did. I still hold on tightly to that memory, wishing it could have come true.

You left us far too soon, yots.  Yet as the days pass, I see your family and friends finding comfort in knowing you are free from pain. It made me realize that I, too, must learn to let you go.

Saying goodbye feels impossible. You were more than a friend, you were my sister at heart. Your laughter, kindness and unwavering suppport will forever echo in me.

Rest peacefully yots, until we meet again.
