Dear Trish
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. It was a pleasure getting to know Shane over the last month, whilst he was in hospital at the same time as my Dad. I looked forward to saying my daily ‘Hi!’ to him and chatting about the day. I am glad he is at peace now but I am sorry for your loss.

I met Shane when attending uni in Towoomba (then DDIAE) nearly fifty years ago. I recall him as a convivial, happy go-lucky guy, who enjoyed a joke and a drink and had a ‘good heart’. I remember him fondly. My sincere condolences to family, friends and all who loved him. RIP
