Dear Shane,
I am so saddened by your passing. I have always admired your strength when you went through cancer a few years ago. I’ll never forget how happy you were when my daughter Ruby was born on your birthday while you were receiving chemo. You loved sharing that special day with her.You had your own special sign—the “I love you” sign on your head like a deer—and Ruby adored it. That unique connection between you two will always stay in our hearts.
You were such a humble and caring man, and I loved how you always wore your favorite cowboy boots—a true country fella. You were a real good friend to us.
Rest in peace, Shane. Until we meet again.
