- The Eddie family from Maroochydore would like to offer our sincere condolences to Uncle Les and his family we apologise for not being able to attend Aunty Shirley’s funeral.. we remember Shirley from our younger years and she was always in our thoughts.. unfortunately Rob is no longer with us to be there for his brother on this sad day x I can see she was loved by all and will be sorely missed.. much love and condolences from the Eddie family x

- Les and familywhat an honour it was to have had a lovely family come into my life led by 2 beautiful people yes that being you Les and your beautiful wife Shirley or as I would often call her Shirl when I came to her room to get her meal order or deliver her food to her at Northridge. It was always fun We would have a great laugh. Les my heart broke for you when I learnt of Shirley's passing you were so dedicated to her and you were both still so in love.
I may not make it to the service due to my own ongoing medical issues but I surely will be live streamingPlease know my thoughts and prayers are with you allsharynnorthridge (kitchen hand)❤ 4
