- Sorry to hear of Val's passing. A long life well lived. Condolences and hugs to all the family. Sorry to not be there in person but live streaming is working very well from Beerwah.I enjoyed many years during schooling visiting the Kooralgin home next door, particularly to watch cartoons on TV, including the Moon landing in 1969, missing Robyn when she went off to Teachers Training College, played hop-scotch with the boys while waiting for the school bus. Brother Ashley was best friends with Adrian, missed him greatly when he was gone, and later named one of his sons Adrian.Until we meet again.Lois(Other family unable to attend: Dorothy, Vincent, Sydney, & Ashley)

To Auntie Val's children, grandchildren etci was so saddened to hear that Auntie Val is no longer physically with us.
I say this as she will always be with us.
my earliest memory of Auntie Val was visiting at the farm.
I remember visiting with Adrian and Auntie Val and Uncle Dick. She showed me how to make butter and I always remember her crochet and wishing I could be just like her.
I never remember her to raise her voice but always being hard working and kind.i know that Mum (Shirley) and Auntie Val were great friends and that not only were they sisters but they greatly cared for one another.Robyn I felt excited when you selected me to be your junior flower girl. Unfortunately no one could know how much I would grow between fittings. Auntie Val had made all the dresses and had to let down the hem and widened the sleeves. She did so with a smile and we had a few laughs.
The times when I visited Auntie Val we always had a laugh and she remembered John's name and we shared some family time asking about our children and discussing hers. She was very proud. I took my crochet with us to get her opinion. She kept on telling me which was the right and the wrong side . Never could get it ! We were on a road trip from Tassie. Here is a photo of it nearly finished Auntie Val!The last time I visited Brisbane I met up with her and we shared some lunch and chatter. She showed me some of the other ladies room who were crafty. We also faced timed Melissa and Bridie . I was always amazed at her memory and progressive thoughts. As I was leaving we giggled together over a funny joke she was so wonderful in telling me her "dirty " joke.
I am so glad that we shared experiences andI loved her wisdom, happiness, memory andwarmth that she radiated.
Forever with me xxxnearly finished Auntie Valmai 😁❤️❤ 2
